Le marcheur

(The one who walks)

Van Gogh Sur la route de TarasconListen. Hear. An inner movement. Invisible. Get lost in a painting. What is an artist? Who is Van Gogh? What is a beginning? What is seeing? A desire to create ‘by ricochets’ makes me observe the inner worlds that some art works open, provoke, suggest, to finally create again, as in response. Piece inspired by the life and work of Van Gogh, created as a carte blanche, for the exhibition Van Gogh au Borinage at Beaux-Arts Mons (BAM) during the event Mons2015 European Capital of Culture.
