Métamorphoses
(Metamorphosis)
I intend to speak of forms changed into new entities. These words open the long poem of Ovid, which tells more than two hundred and thirty stories of metamorphoses. Beyond words, it is a question of inventing a hybrid theatrical form, which makes the event of metamorphosis, and the emotion that accompanies it, happen. Invitation to see... To see something getting transformed, becoming something else. The theater stage, like a large laboratory, to explore impermanence, the flow of desire and the flow of life…
